Geoff has been creating value at lower middle market companies since 1985, both as an owner/operator and as an investor. Previously, he bought, operated and sold a lower middle market industrial company. He then co-founded and raised institutional capital to establish ShareWave, a home networking company, which later was acquired by Cirrus Logic. He also has invested in the consumer products, basic industrial, financial services and specialty retailing industries.
Prior to Wedbush Capital, Geoff was a Senior Advisor to Mercury Partners (now Sage Capital), a middle-market private equity firm, and was a Partner with Recovery Equity Partners, a $200 million private equity firm. He began his private equity career with Manufacturer's Hanover Equity Corporation (now JP Morgan Partners) and has structured leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, growth equity and venture capital financings.
Geoff is a frequent speaker on issues related to the private equity industry. He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching his children’s sports team. He also is very active with his alma maters and his children’s school.
