James’s interest in Wedbush Capital stemmed from his desire to interact closely with entrepreneurs and senior management to build business value. 

James was previously a Research Associate in Wells Fargo’s Proprietary Portfolio Group, which manages a multibillion dollar credit portfolio investing in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans and credit derivatives.  He focused primarily on the financial services and consumer industry sectors. 

As an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California, James was an active member of the Student Government.  He held the position of Associate Justice of the Judicial Council and was a member of the Student Programming Fee Control Board.  In his spare time, James enjoys playing tennis and exploring Los Angeles.
