James’s interest in private equity stemmed from his desire to interact closely with entrepreneurs and senior management to build business value.
Prior to joining Wedbush Capital, James worked as a Research Associate in Wells Fargo’s Proprietary Portfolio Group, which manages a multibillion dollar credit portfolio investing in high-yield bonds, leveraged loans and credit derivatives. He focused primarily on the financial services and consumer industry sectors.
As an undergraduate at the University of Southern California, James was an active member of the Student Government. In his spare time, James enjoys exploring Los Angeles.
