"It is very rewarding to be part of a team that, through its financial capital and intellectual resources, makes a direct impact on the future growth and success of so many companies.  I particularly enjoy working with our portfolio companies' financial teams as an incremental resource whenever they need it."

Dan’s deep experience spanning public accounting, the specific needs of managing an investment fund and financial due diligence are key attributes to his success in managing his multi-faceted role at Wedbush Capital.   In addition to overseeing the fund’s overall administration, he also interacts with portfolio companies to supplement their management teams.  He contributes to the financial due diligence process, both in advance of a new investment and when there are changes at portfolio companies. Dan is a California licensed CPA currently classified as inactive status.

Prior to joining Wedbush Capital in 2006, Dan was chief financial officer of DynaFund Ventures.  His responsibilities at DynaFund included directing the firm's entire financial affairs and actively assisting the portfolio companies with financial and operational issues.  Dan also worked closely with DynaFund’s managing directors to establish strategy and vision in support of investment decisions, including due diligence, term sheet review, capitalization structures and post-investment portfolio company monitoring.

Dan began his career at Ernst & Young LLP, spending more than 4 years as a Senior Accountant.  His clients were primarily focused in the retail / consumer products and media / entertainment industries, and ranged from start-ups to Fortune 500 public companies.

An avid ice hockey and University of Washington Huskies fan, Dan often can be found yelling at the television during football season.  He spends the rest of his free time with his family, enjoying sports and traveling.
